How To: Brighten Ext Without Chemicals to Add Money Piece

Have you ever had client decide to go darker and regret it?🙀

My client originally started with @bellamihairpro chocolate rebel and had me color her hair darker. When she came in for her reinstall she regretted going dark and wanted to brighten it up but I explained to her I can’t bleach her extensions we would have to get new hair. Her hair was fairly new so she was begging for other options! So I gave her a solution!

I took some small leftover pieces I had kept from previous installs and attached them to the front of each row, then I popped in a few foils on her natural hair and gave her a brightened money piece look! I added these small sections and this same process to both rows. This is why I dont throw away any hair even if it’s a smaller piece and doesn’t seem like it will be useful! I cut off some of the original weft to alleviate too much weight on the corners.

I was able to use backstock scrap pieces so I didn’t have to charge her a crazy amount. So normally her reinstall would have been $600 but since I added extra hair and did a customized technique I just added on $300 which brought her total to $900 instead of getting new hair which would have been $2000. So be sure to explain this when doing customization like this to your client so they see you actually saved them over $1000 so an extra $300 doesn’t seem so steep. it actually is a steal!

If you need to see a slower version of installing you can screen record and slow it down or you can refer to the previous Infinity weft videos!
