How To: Hybrid Flex Weft Install/IW Money Piece

For this install we matched my guest perfectly to the new flex weft shade ‘cookie dough’ but her only hesitation was she wanted the front to be brighter. So I installed her bottom row of flex weft hybrid style so she can still hide the beads on the side. You could 100% do it all skeleton method too especially if they have finer hair. (I wanted to make this video to show you all an alternative way). Then for her top row I used a small seam ripper to undo the stitches and then that left me with a single row and a double row. I then undid the stitches of the double row giving me 3 single layers and I cut out the center layer. I went about 2 inches in to give her a good pop of blonde in the front but not too much! She has terrible hard water and always comes back needing lots of toner! I finally convinced her to go more dimensional so her hair blended better and can grow better. Adding lightener and all the other things on top of bad water is always a recipe for disaster. So to keep het still feeling blonde I then installed the top row hiding the first beads but added in a layer of ‘beige blonde’ infinity weft. This made it so it doesn’t get too bulky and she still had the rooted layers on the top and bottom. I did the exact same stitching on the top as I did the bottom! Let me know if you have any questions always!
